NEW GLASSES

I have worn glasses since I was five years old.  From early on, I hated them, hated "four eyes" and hated that I could not see well without them.  I spent my teenage years squinting and only putting them on to drive because I thought they made me ugly.  In the early 90's I had RK and had 7 years of no glasses and I felt so free, but with aging came changes in my eyesight and now I have to war glasses again.  But my vision is such that my right eye is much worse than my left so its challenging at time.

I hate only having one pair of glasses because I get tired of them and I want them to match what I am wearing.  But my prescription is such that my glasses are sooooo expensive so I cannot buy too many pair.  Worse I hate having to go pick them up as I work so many hours that it makes it hard to get there during m-f 9 am to 5 pm.  I did try costco etc but the quality is not the same and I have difficulty seeing out of them.

One day I was reading Ali Edwards blog and she had a post about a new way to buy glasses from David Kind.  It looked simple and it was all for the price of $275.00 per pair.  Which is more than half price for my prescription.

You sign up online with them, upload a picture of yourself and add preferences.

A stylist works on your account and ships you six frames to try on.
you right comments on each one, what you like and don't like. Then you send back your choice (if any) and your prescription along with a picture of the frame of choice for measurements. They provide the shipping label and all shipping is free.  I took the entire box to work and tried them on and got every ones input. Which is great as your friends will tell you the truth vs the sales gal at your optical boutique.

In about 10 days your new glasses arrive in the mail

All done in the comfort of your own home.
So easy peasy.  Simple and I love my new glasses and can't wait to get another pair.
Knowing exactly how much it costs makes it easy to budget.

So the stress of new glasses is one stress I no longer have to worry about.
