Prior to coming home from Pismo, I did scrap a little early this morning. I felt more creative and had some fun. Must have been the sun peaking through the fog and the promise of a nice cool bright September day!

I took my parents to my sister DeDe's today. While she is in Hawaii for a month, they are going to house sit for a week and I am picking them back up next weekend. The weather is cool and we had a nice day. I took my mom for a manicure an d pedicure. While I get to pamper myself each week, its a rare experience for her and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Unfortunately I am in the middle of a good book and only was able to get a couple layouts done today. Maybe a couple more tomorrow? Whatever the case, I had some down time and it felt good
I couldn't help but do a Luigi's layout. This is my son, Garretts favorite lunch spot especially on thursday when its Italian Dip day. I am partial to the Giovanni's salad. My husband, who is the resident cook, has now mastered the Italian dip and home, so Garrett is a happy camper when he stops by on Welch Dip night!

My son Garrett bought a house three weeks ago and moved in. In celebration we are having a housewarming on November 7th, where I fully intend to make a huge vat of sangria which just screams fall to me plus some good food and I hope family and friends time. I made the invitations this week. The background paper is a picture of Garrett walking out of his new house if you look closely. I cut the house out on my silhouette cutter. I printed home sweet home on the envelopes too. I am very happy with the end result.

Been super busy since my return from NYC one week ago. I have not edited all the 700pics. I had to get ready for a couple of classes I am teaching this week, so here is one template class that has my time square pics in it. All thats left is to add a title in chipboard or stickers.

I did a little scrappin today. My son's girlfriend Heather joined me. Having her love scrappin makes me even love her that much more!!! I did these two pages for myself. One from the weekend trip to my sissy's in San Diego and then Dirty Dancing at Pantages. I also whipped out a couple for Heather including Venice and and England layout.
It helps to get more photos on a page using Photoshop. You can figure out what ya want to do with the pics and crop them to size,m print, cut and you have less to mat. Love it.
I also did 12 wedding layouts but am just too tired to get those in the blog. I am gearing up for NYC on Friday. I cannot wait.

Yesterday I had the pleasure and pain of shooting Marilyn's daughter's wedding. Marilyn has worked for me for the over 9 years and she is a super woman. When she asked me to shoot the wedding, I couldn't day no, but when I woke up Saturday morning I said, why did I say yes? I was so nervous and so worried I would get horrible shots. Well I got a couple good ones and hope they will like them. Here are a couple of the shots I like.

A picture says it all!
I came home today and unwrapped this special blankie made with love by Susanne Zingg. I spread it out and Zoey Lou immediatly layed down on it. I can tell she is going to be a happy camper. Thanks for the special gift!

As you can see I have not blogged much this week. For one, I have been super busy, for second my latte maker broke last Friday and I am under caffeinated! BUT my new one came today!!!
Isn't he a beaut! I think of it as a he, cause only a man can make me coffee every morning to perfection. ( oops I must have fallen asleep) In my mind he is tall, dark and handsome! I just made my first cup with this upgraded model and it tastes sooooooooooo YUMMY!
